23 August 2019 – NUS students had the chance to membatik their own batik using traditional way. They got a chance to learn it membatik at Lukman Batik.

First of all, they listened to some explanations from Mas Ari related to the story, motifs and methods of membatik. They listened to it attentively. Patiently, Mas Ari explained and showed every step. NUS students had a chance to create their own design. It is something that they like. After 3 hours, they finally finished their batik. They dried their batik in the sun. Although it was a very long process, they were very happy seeing their result.
